Wednesdays for Women Program Gets Creative making custom colorful soaps!
Participants in our Wednesdays for Women program experimented with different ingredients, scents, and colors to create their custom soaps! Not only did they leave with a unique and lovely scented product, but they also had the satisfaction of knowing they made it themselves.
Working in groups of two, each participant mixed colors—such as red, green, purple, and blue—in a mold to create six different types of soap. This process also included adding a sweet-smelling fragrance of their choosing—lavender, jasmine, sandalwood, rose, or lily.
Our women’s wellness soap-making session allowed participants to relax, unwind, and connect with their peers while creating a lovely new soap to take home. We were delighted to witness their creativity, eagerness to learn a new skill, and willingness to share their experiences with other like-minded women.
