SACSS Promotes Civic Engagement at National Voter Registration Day Event

On National Voter Registration Day, our SACSS team recently collaborated with APA VOICE and other organizations to ensure that individuals were educated about upcoming elections and helped with voter registration at the Essex Market in Manhattan.

SACSS is a member of the Asian Pacific Americans Voting and Organizing to Increase Civic Engagement (APA VOICE), which was convened by the Minkwon Center.

At SACSS, civic engagement is vital in fostering a sense of community and social responsibility. It involves actively participating in the processes that shape our society, such as voting, volunteering, and staying informed about local and national issues. When people are civically engaged, they have the power to influence decisions that affect their lives and the lives of others.
