SACSS Executive Director Sudha Acharya Honored at Kannada Koota Celebration

SACSS Executive Director Sudha Acharya was honored with the Advocate for Immigrant Integration Award from Kannada Koota during the Ganesha Habba Celebration on Sept. 21.

The prestigious award recognized Sudha’s outstanding contributions to integrating and empowering immigrant communities in New York. Under her leadership, SACSS has implemented numerous programs and initiatives to provide support, resources, and educational opportunities to immigrants from diverse backgrounds.

The event, ‘Celebrating Women of Influence: Honoring Excellence in Our Community,’ recognized five honorees, including Sudha, for making a lasting impact in their community. The award ceremony was a highlight of the Ganesha festival, celebrating not only the cultural significance of the event but also the remarkable individuals who continue to make a positive impact in society.
